January is a wonderful month to recreate oneself. I recently published an article titled Six Ways to Access Your Intuition. One of the ways is Downtime. When you are still, that is not keeping yourself too busy, this is a great way to have creative ideas flow. Recreation is another way. In taking time off to have fun, you can re-create, that is let go of your worries, and feel joy. When you feel refreshed and renewed, your creativity can soar.

I love that expression “when you are still”. It reminds me of when teachers would tell kids to SIT STILL! It taught me a commanding way to do just that. It helps me to get into meditative mode.
I think we should all take time to recharge ourselves and our creativity levels at least once during each change of the seasons.
This would surely prove to be a benefit to each of us.
They say the most gifted artists are children, so by letting yourself play and remember the freedom of childhood, you are also enabling yourself to remember the freedom of creativity and intuition!
